Inventory Feed for Business Sellers

A Business account's own system can send its stock straight to RCMarket. New items become ads, changed items update their ads, and anything missing from a full feed comes down. RCMarket never reads your site: you send the data here. Everything an ad must have is the same as a hand-made ad, and an item missing something stays a draft that your status call names.

1. Get a key

Sign in, switch to Business under Account > Selling As, then Account > Inventory Feed > Create a Feed Key. The key is shown once. Send it on every call:

2. Send items

POST https://rcmarket.com/api/feed/v1/items with up to 50 items a call. ref is your stock number: send the same ref again and that ad is updated, never duplicated.

The answer lists each item: action (created, updated, restored, skipped, refused), status (live or draft), url once live, photos_pending, missing (what still blocks publishing) and problems (anything in the item we could not read).

3. A full feed: finish the run

To send your whole inventory, give every items call of that pass the same run (any text, such as a timestamp), then:

Every ad your feed made that the run did not carry comes down, and comes back if a later feed sends its ref again. As a guard against a broken export, a finish that would remove more than ten ads and more than the run carried is refused until you send it again with "allow_large_removal": true. A partial update is simply an items call without a finish: nothing is removed.

Photos

Each photo link is fetched once, only because you sent it, and must be a JPEG, PNG or WebP of up to 10 MB. RCMarket resizes it and keeps its own copy; your link is not stored. Photos are worked in a queue within minutes, so a new item answers photos_pending and publishes itself when its photos are in. Change a link and the ad's photos are replaced once the new set is ready; send the same links and nothing is fetched again.

Status

GET https://rcmarket.com/api/feed/v1/status returns your live and draft counts, photos still in the queue, your last ten calls, and every feed draft with what it is missing and any photo that failed.
