RCMarketOne market for all

How RCMarket works

If you are tired of having to keep track of 43 different Facebook groups and forums when you buy and sell RC stuff, help solve the problem by using RCMarket. It's free. Every RC airplane, helicopter, jet, glider, drone, car, truck, crawler and boat, plus the radios, batteries, engines and parts, in one market.

Selling

Post an ad in about two minutes: photos first, then the title. The assistant reads your photos, names the product, fills the details it can see and asks for the rest. You set the price with a suggested range beside it, add the box size for shipping estimates, and publish. Free.

Private Sellers and Businesses

Every ad carries a badge. Private Seller is the default: your own gear, shown under your first name and last initial. A shop, a dealer or anyone selling stock for a living picks Business under Account and enters the business name, which then shows on its ads, its profile and in messages. A business can keep up to 500 ads open; a private seller up to 40. On the board, the Seller filter shows either kind.

Uploading a Spreadsheet

Have a lot to list? Under My Ads, Upload a Spreadsheet takes a CSV or Excel file with one row per item: title, price, condition, category, kind, description and photos. Photos are file names in a zip you add alongside the sheet, or links to the pictures (your store, Dropbox or Google Drive); each link is fetched once to copy the picture onto the ad. Every row becomes a draft, you see what each one still needs, and you publish the ready ones in one click. Give each row a ref (your stock number) and uploading the sheet again updates those ads instead of adding new ones. Download the template.

Buy Now and the Inventory Feed

A Business ad can carry a link to that item's page on the shop's own store: the ad then shows Buy Now in place of Make an Offer, and the purchase happens on the shop's site, not on RCMarket. Shops with their own inventory system can send it here directly with the Inventory Feed: new stock becomes ads, sold stock comes down.

The Suggested Price and the Deal Badges

The suggestion comes from real sales and asking prices on RCMarket for that product, or from the manufacturer's price with an age and condition curve when there is no history yet. Buyers see a Decent, Good or Great Deal badge when an ad sits under the typical range. Nothing shows at or above it.

Shipping

Every ad that ships carries a carrier estimate from the seller's ZIP to yours. It is an estimate, not a label; you and the seller settle who pays and how it goes.

Messages

Buyers write through RCMarket. Sellers get an email and a push notification. Nobody's email address or phone number is shown on an ad.

Wanted Ads and Trades

Looking for something nobody has listed? Post a Wanted ad: what you want, a budget if you have one, and whether you would trade for it. Sellers who have one message you here, and the same wish alerts you the moment a matching ad is published. A seller can also mark an ad Open to trades and say what they would take; the price stays, so a buyer can still just pay it.
